Which tool---did i use to get this hole??????????

I BORED A PERFECT ROUND HOLE IN A CONCRETE WALL. i CAN'T FIND ANYTHING IN MY TOOL BOX AFTER THIS LONG[15 YEARS AGO] The hole busted out on the other side.- unimportant-its a 1" hole for a 3/4" copper water pipe, Is there a hole saw, or special tool for this. Share with me how i may have done this, i was a plumber -but alas things are starting to get by me. Any help greatly appreciated:confused: bob s

If a nice clean, smooth hole is important, you could also use a diamond core drill bit. It gets messy, since you need running water to keep the bit cool, though. If breakout on the outside needs to be controlled, you can drill a pilot hole and use that as a guide to drill from both sides. That way, the outside will be neater.
