I am helping a friend with some faucets that have no water coming out. These are 10 year old Delta lav faucets with 2 handles and a center spout. I verified that the strainer wasn't the problem and pulled out the cartridges. I have water up coming out of the faucet body on both sides. When I put one cartridge back in and open that valve handle, water will come out of the opposite cartridge location and vice versa. It seems like that means the cartridges are OK but there is a blockage at the point where the 2 sides go into the spout. This was on a double sink, this side was used infrequently. I tried pushing a wire down through the spout but wasn't able to clear anything. I would appreciate any ideas. Thanks!

replace entirely unless you want to waste time by pulling the faucet and using a variety of test bench back-flushing techniques that may be impossible unless you have a lot of plumbing fittings and supplies.
Is galvanized pipe anywhere in the system? If so, then address that issue. Even galv. pipe nipples will cause ongoing risk.

Thanks for the prompt response. I am not seeing any galvanized, strangely all CPVC. Part of the issue of replacing is that it is a double vanity sink and I doubt he could find one to match the other. I suggested he take the cartridges out and try to blow back through the spout with an air blow gun attached to his compressor.
