What type of well do I have?

I found a well on my property while cleaning brush. It has 6"od metal casing. It was probably drilled in the 60's as that's when my house was built. I dipped the well and the casing is about 60' but the there is about a 25' void before I hit water and it seems to be about 25' to 30' of water. My biggest question is how to install a submersible pump with that much void in casing without the fear of breaking the water line from possible flowing of water?

For a well in Oklahoma, you will want to install a pitless adapter from below the frost line. That might be 4 ft below ground level, and the casing will extend about a foot above ground level.

If you search for "pitless" you will find a lot of relevant information.

A 1/2 HP 10 gpm submersible pump is probably a good size.

Will the pump and pex water line be okay suspending 30+ feet below the casing pipe that is already installed?

I would not hang the pump on pex. But 125#-160# poly or sch 80 threaded PVC is fine. Hanging a pump 60' is no big deal.
