What tool do I need for this water hammer arrestor installation?

Hi!
Total dufus here
Can you tell me which tool I need to unscrew those bolts for the pipes? I cannot do it by hand as they seem super tight and the few pliers I got won't
fit there.

Those are not hammer arrestors, just shutoffs for the washer.
If you are talking about the hoses, then pliers works well on removing those.

Yes I need to remove the hoses so I can install the arrestors but the problem is they are receded within that box so I cannot fit a tool like that which is what got me confused.

Channel lock pliers come in a variety of sizes and jaw styles. You just need one where the jaws are not so fat. Some of the curved jaw styles might fit into tight spaces better.

Alternately you could try hose pliers such as the following:
