What kind of fittings on this CSV?

What kind of fittings are used to connect the CSV in this photo? I have the CSV but my piping is so close to the cement floor (as in this photo) there is no room to rotate the CSV to install it. Are the fittings here something like union fittings?

OK.... I'm a novice DIY'er attempting the install myself. Can you help me clarify what I need to ask for at the plumbing supply store?

I guess that photo is not your installation. How about posting a photo of the place, and nearby area, where you intend to install the CSV.

I went into town, purchased 2 union fittings sized for the intended connections and we should have it all installed tomorrow morning. If we hit a snag I'll post again.
