I am finishing my basement, which has 2 floor drains that connect to each other under the floor and then the main sewer system. One of the floor drains is in a portion I will not be finishing, near the washer, dryer, water heater. The other drain is in the middle of the floor where I will be putting a bedroom. I will be adding superseal dimpled polyethylene and then carpet. My basement has an everydry drainage system and sump pump with backup. What should I do about the floor drain?
