I know there is not a simple answer to that question - I'm just looking for some advise, preferences, and recommendations.

I plan to replace the kitchen faucet. It is a single-hole, one-lever model with pull-out spray wand. There is a single hole for the faucet and a second hole cut (in granite) for a soap dispenser.

I think the major brands are Delta, Moen, and Kohler. Did I miss anyone?

The higher-end lines in these brands are $350 - $400+. I want to be sure I spend my money wisely. Does anyone have a preference? Is any brand more reliable, easier to service, or have a longer-lasting finish than the others?

Thanks.

Delta or Moen. Kohler make too many changes to there faucets making difficult to get the right parts to make repairs.
