Hi -- I'm working on putting a bathroom in my basement and am trying to figure out how to most efficiently vent (i.e. dig the fewest number of trenches). Does this diagram properly wet vent the shower and toilet? Or do I need separate vents for either of those? Many thanks.

I assume the drawing is in plan view, other than the vent (probably better to show vertical pipes as circles in plan view). For horizontal wet venting, the dry vented sink has to join between the WC and the shower. And the shower trap arm, from the trap to where it hits the horizontal wye to join with the drain that is the wet vent, may fall at most one pipe diameter.

Cheers, Wayne
