Wellmate WM-9 vs Flexcon FL12 - is Flexcon really worth more money?

My water is slightly acidic, pH5.8-6

Any thoughts on Wellmate WM vs Flexcon FL tanks?
Both are composite.
Wellmate has this plastic quick connect T, which I read that people complain about that it leaks.

Wellmate I can buy at $600-$700 online
Flexcon is sold only through dealers and it costs almost 3 times ($1,600 for FL12)

Pluming company I plan to use doesn't want to install Wellmate, they only use Flexcon.
Is Flexcon really that much better? Does it last longer?

Any suggestion would help.

Flexcon is much better than Wellmate. Wellmate uses a bladder, and that is not as long-lived as a diaphragm.

I wonder why you named only those two? Your well company offers Flexcon because you cannot compare prices.

Is composite important to you? My Flexcon Challenger is steel, and it has been long-lived, but my pH is over 7.

I would go with Well-X-Trol. But Amtrol has some cheaper units made to a cheaper standard, but they don't sell composite as far as I know. My water is acidic so I understand steel tanks won't last that long.
I was told that it is better if I use composite tank. So that's the reason for those two.

I understand. Do you understand "polypropylene liner provides a 100% corrosion resistant, non-metallic rigid water reservoir" for WX-205 and WX-250?

There are other steel tanks that have a polypropylene liner.

Like Reach said, diaphragms are better than bladders (bags), and with a WX water never touches the metal. Could be the same with their Water Worker version.
