when our pump was hooked to red and black output was very low. When we disconnected black, with only power on red, it worked great. Some wiring was goofy, so we rewired the entire thing and now the pump surges for a second and then goes to very little to no flow. After a while, more water eventually starts coming out. Any ideas why this is happening?
Had a well company come check and they said it was wired correctly and continuity was good from house to pump.

None of that makes any sense. Well company should have figured it out for you. Continuity is just the first test. What about the amp draw? What about a flow test? Sounds like you need to find a well company that knows how to check stuff.
