The advantage of the 35 ft of pipe between the jet and the foot valve is that it cannot suck air due to sucking all of the water out.
1-1/4 pipe is 1.66 inch diameter. So that should give enough annular space to carry enough water. A coupling could not be used however.
What I don't understand is the "10 foot". Is the foot valve about 45 ft down from the well seal, or is there something between the 10-foot pipe and the well seal? Why only 10 feett

The problem started with the well loses the prime ,so he put the jet 8 feet down from the top, someone else told me the jet should be 10 foot from the footvalve,do you think I should use 1inch all the way and get rid of the 1 1/4
