Hi. I have a Bradford White hot water heater, model M-2-TW-75T6BN. It's about 15 years year old. No problems ever, works fine.

However, I recently noticed a pinging sound, I think from one of the pipes leading in or out of the hot water, after the water heater heats up and the blower motor turns off. It happens about 5 seconds after the blower turns off. Sounds like someone takes a hammer to a copper pipe. Then that's it.

Just wondering if this is normal, nothing to worry about, or some serious issue.

I recorded the sound on a video but not sure how I can attach here?
