Watts Recir Pump on DUAL Water Heater in Sequence

How do I hook up a Watts recirculating pump on two water heaters hooked up in sequence like picture shown? How about that Expansion Tank on the tank 2 hot water side? Do I add the pump right after it?

Expansion tanks only go on the cold water side. They are not designed for hot water.

Dedicated recirc or just putting a pump and crappy make my cold water hot "comfort" mixer valve at a distant fixture?

A recirc pump that pumps hot water to a crossover valve under a sink and floods the cold water pipe with warm water is installed between the outgoing Hot nipple and the water heater flex connector. They're designed to be a very simple installation.
