I know there have been a few links to water test companies and the one that is most popular with folks is suspended now due to a merger. Has anyone utilized this one? I know they want to sell you their products but I don't see how that is related as they claim to have an independent lab doing the tests.

It seems like a good series of tests for $90...

(Also being somewhat new to this forum, I wondered why the section is called "water softener etc"? Rather than "Water Treatment"???

Last, would it be wise to have a "pinned" post at the top suggesting water testing to everyone and some posts that list laboratories and their links. Just food for thought.

Good find. I wonder if it is equivalent to http://www.watercheck.com/pdf/Watercheck_1_2_Sample_Report.pdf

You are right, but this works well once you get here.

Maybe one pinned/sticky FAQ entry would be nice, but it can run amok. See https://terrylove.com/forums/index.php?forums/pumps-and-tanks-well-forum-blog-water-is-life.4/ for how far down that road you can go. A FAQ could have links to threads that have info on things of long term interest that may not be that easily found with a search.
