Hello,
I have read quite a few threads on this site explaining why a softener or water heater could implode but still have a few questions.
My building's softener tank appears to have imploded then exploded. The cracks on the tank indicate that it first sucked in, then blew out. Is the only way for this to happen is to have lack of supply pressure into the softener tank? The water heater is down stream of it and all of the mechanical is on the 2nd floor.
Thanks,
