My shower has some sort of anti gold feature. That is set where the water will not get hot, especially in cold weather. I’m pretty handy, but I cannot figure out how to adjust this. I took the limiter off completely, and that lets me turn the handle past the limiter, but then the pressure just starts dropping, and then eventually the water shuts completely off. As the water pressure starts dropping the water does get hotter so I think there’s a way to adjust this. But I just can’t figure out how and I’m afraid. I’m gonna break something. I’m posting pictures of this because I also can’t figure out what even the model is. I’m posting pictures of this because I also can’t figure out what the manufacturer much less the model is. I know this thing has to be at least 20 years old, but it was replaced with a new valve less than a year ago and The Guy told me the water was set properly and in the summertime when the pipes are hot, it’s fine, but when the temperature drops below freezing for a couple of days, the water just does not get very hot.
