I have a Duron hot water heater that is 18 years old. Recently I read there had been some problems resulting in a lawsuit. I have had no problems to date with my heater. My concern is should I replace it or will the plastic liner prevent it from rusting thru and developing a leak?

From what I read of the settlement that is not the tank issue but with the
elements.18 yrs is a long time for a W/H.If are not having any problem I
would not worry to much. But if decide to replace go with Bradford-White.
BTW my name is Clay:)

If it leaks, how much $damage? If none, wait.
If it dies, how much inconvenience until you get a new one?
