Would the pressure tank on a water pressure booster unit act as a water surge protector and eliminate water hammer?
Thanks,

NJ and a sierra mtns name? Came from California?

Simplistic answer about the tank is perhaps, depending on where it is in relation to other system components and what is a deeper description of the problem you are trying to solve.

If you have hammer now and you add more pressure, you will likely add to or retain the original amount of hammer.
