Hi, we have a pentair whole house water filtration system and when we were replacing the filter today, the gasket was found to be over stretched. Unfortunelty we can't find a new one today. With the bypass valves shut off to the water filter, can we still access water in the house for showers and toilets? Or will our water supply eventually be gone after a couple of flushes?

If there is a position that reads "bypass", yes you'll have water without water entering the filter.
It seems to just be on off... It seems that the water goes into the softener, into the large tank for the filter, then into the smaller filtration system (where we changed the actual filter) then into the house. So not sure that we are able to bypass..

So unless I can bypass the entire water softener system....
