Hi all, new to the forums as a poster. Included two photos to show the water rising up overflow tube. This happens as soon as toilet is flushed. It happens in all 3 toilets in our house, and it's not from the refill tube. Two upstairs have the same flapper & adjustable overflow tube, while the downstairs has standard flapper & PVC overflow tube. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thank you!

Way weird.

Try moving the black refill tube off to the side temporarily, and flush. What happens?

The refill tube I think should be in the middle of the green thing, rather than extending down the overflow tube. I have not seen a clip like that green thing, but I presume this is designed to prevent siphoning.

Unfortunately, no change with either adjustment

Not a plumber. But from your notes I gather that:

o All three toilets behave the same way.
o All three toilets function just fine.

Maybe...it's designed that way (no idea why). As a programmer might say, "that's not a bug, it's a feature!!".

BTW, what brand are they?

You're correct. Brand is Kohler for all 3. Tanks are K4512.
