Water coming out of well head

New house to us and lack of water and have now noticed water coming out of well head. Pump and switch have been turned off and water still coming out. What can the issues be? Thank you.

Artesian wells are common in your area. But that means they make so much water it just flows out the top all the time, so the house should not lack for water. Those are two different things. Artesian wells need to be capped so they can't flow, or tapped so they can flow without hurting anything. But with that much water in the well the pump system should be able to supply all the water the house needs. You may just need a new pump and/or just a new control system. With a Constant Pressure system using a Cycle Stop Valve you won't even need soap in the shower.
