Washing machine waste line?

can the washer 2" line discharge before the toilet.

Someone posted elsewhere it must connect after the toilet waste connection

can't find anything in the code.

You're in Florida, which uses the IPC, but your question is in the UPC Plumbing Code forum. So are you asking about the UPC or the IPC?

The only issue with joining a WC fixture drain and a laundry standpipe drain together is that the WC fixture drain needs to be vented before the junction.

The toilet is required to be vented before it joins with laundry drainage.

A horizontal wet vent can only have bathroom or floor drains. If you can add the vented laundry drainage after the toilet, the toilet can be wet vented, typically by the lavatory, but could be other bathroom group item.
