I am moving my wash machine and laundry/utility sink over to the opposite wall in my small basement and was thinking of running 3/4 pex however the line that goes to both appliances currently is a 1/2 line. The 1/2 inch line branches off a 3/4 line currently. Is 1/2 pex fine to use for both appliances or should I change it to 3/4? I’d rather not go up to 3/4 because that requires me saudering in a tight spot. Also is there a problem going from 1/2 to 3/4?
