I am replacing a Crane wall mount toilet (installed in the early 1960's I think) with a Gerber Maxwell. Mainly because I need to replace the Crane with one that uses much less water. Got the old one off, getting ready to install the new one, started reading the instructions, and discovered that the horn only protrudes from the wall by about 1/8". What is the minimum protrusion that I can get away with successfully. I can get another 1/4 or 3/8" by removing the beadboard behind the toilet before I have to start digging into the sheet rock.

Thanks!
