If you are a Texas owner of a Vortens™ Brand Toilet Tank that was manufactured between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2010, you could get benefits from the Cone v. Vortens Class Action Settlement.

Sorry, we just saw this today over a year later. As a plumber we do see tanks that are cracked out in the field.
Field meaning someone's home.

Has anyone on hear had experience with these? As a plumber, I know it's more than one brand that has issues.
Crane has tanks that crack, that I know of. Another thing that is a problem on some brands are the tank bolts that rust and break. At some point you have a tank resting on a bowl, with nothing to hold them down. Seems like a poor way to save manufacturing money, but yes, it's a thing.

WOW.. I had a Crane tank that was cracked at someones home. They were having me come out for something different on the toilet, but I wouldn't touch it without fully replacing the toilet.. Ticking time bomb.
