I have an ancient shower - I found the stems originally at local Ace Hardware but they no longer carry them and couldn't help any further (I am sure they had a way to look these up but - I think just watching Youtube videos I knew more about it than they did which was scary!)
The issue is with the valve seat its in rough shape - Ace (2 different people) / Lowes / Menards - couldn't help or be able to match it up to get me a model number or at least just get me a new valve seat.

Can anyone identify this and get me a model number so I can replacement parts or just replace it all with proper parts.
I sanded the valve seat down to make it smooth but its got a notch it so it will still leak. This is for the cold side.

This was replaced a year or 2 back but I am 90% sure they did not replace the valve stem considering it was stripped and in rough shape.
Its like a 10 minute fix and I have been at this for weeks.

Lowes suggested just replacing everything with a new kit but wasn't sure if the parts would match up to my ancient plumbing...
I don't want to pay a plumber $300+ to replace a $2 part.

Thanks!
Erik

stem looks new you just need a seat ? if you cant eyeball a new seat use a micrometor or digital caliper to measure the seat thread diametor easy enough ? a good hardware store has a fitment board you can screw the seat into stay outta Blowes and HD for this'. I just had the same issue cost them close to 300 as well I charge for this stuff and they called me out at 6 oclock charged only 100 then I had to find parts come back another trip no real money doing it and I think my prices are very fair "Cheap" but ill spend all day on a 300 dollar job myself at my house on DIY stuff.
there are websites that have huge selection and pictures but sorry I keep loosing my referances

Thank you for the reply! I was able to find it using the image reverse feature on Google (which never works for me!)
Just in case someone out there has same issue - these are the replacements. If the plumber would of replaced the seat I wouldn't need to be doing this.
