Vintage apron bathtub - drain and overflow installation

I have a vintage cast iron apron bathtub, which I would like to reuse. How should I connect a new drain and overflow? Do I need to open a wall from behind to have an access? Thanks.

If you have the drain in place, you can drop the tub in over it and then thread the fittings in afterwards.
