Getting a small leak behind the toliet where is mounts to the wall. How to fix it.

I don't know what a Ventaway toilet is. I am guessing it looks like a regular wall-hung toilet. Where is the tank?

Does it only leak when flushed?

In that case, the problem could be the neoprene or wax ring.

Fixing that will require pulling the toilet off of the wall. But other inspections should be made at the same time.

Do you like the toilet (flushes well, etc)? If not, you could change out the toilet at the same time.

As R4 says, removal and redoing seal is only way. Follow mounting instructions for four bolt toilets. There is a critical tightening order that must be followed.
Really, I'd say not a job for DIY !!!

If it’s leaking at the outlet, then most likely the wax ring or neoprene seal is bad. I would recommend getting a Zurn neo seal gasket to replace it as I find those work really well on wall mounts. Every wall mount I’ve said we’ve used the neo seal gasket and we’ve never had a leak.
