I have this very old diverter that has finally failed. It has very unusual threads, and I couldn’t find anything to match the threads in any department at either Lowe’s or Ace hardware.
I’d like to try and find a replacement part rather than tear out a tile wall to replace the entire fixture.
For now I have a rubber expansion plug in it so we can shower.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It kind of looks like a 3/4" IP thread, though maybe not enough taper to it.
Have I seen anything like this before? No.

If it is a 3/4" thread, then you can pick up a 1/2" spout, and a nipple with a 1/2" x 3/4" bush for the end that meets the wall.
