I installed a tile redi shower pan. It has a 2 inch drain that I need to reduce to my old 1 1/2 line. My question is how can I do this with enough angle for the water to flow the correct way? I feel like after I make a p trap and reduce the line that I will be lower than my original drain path. The second pic indicates about how high I need to be

FWIW, in plumbing, it generally will not pass code to neck a drain pipe down - IOW, it probably won't pass a code inspection without replacing the 1.5" line all the way to where it is at least 2" or more. There are some p-traps that are shallower than others. Canada does allow a 1.5" drain for a shower from what I hear, but the USA does not, and you might have better luck trying to find a 1.5" drain and use a 1.5" p-trap.

The 2 inch hole is permanent in the shower pan.

Ok if I change it all to 2 inch look at the problem I run into at my main. It is threaded 1 1/2 going into it

There is no easy resolution. For that shower pan to work where you have installed it, the location of the cast fitting you have is not going to work.

I think you can do that. It's a glued trap, so that gives you some room. A 2 x 1.5" reducing coupling over the p-trap.
At the worst, you can make the U bend a little deeper with fittings.

That is exactly what I did! It worked out just fine. Thank you Terry

It would be great to see pics of the finished work. Looking at the original photos, I must not see what Terry did.
