I am in Ontario, doing some Reno's and adding a bathroom to the basement as well as some floor drains. I have an existing vertical waste stack that is 3" that serves a main floor bathroom and kitchen (photo attached). The stack currently goes to 4" above grade and then goes below grade, all this in unfinished space that I plan on finishing.
Posting the overhead view of my basement bathroom that will be wet vented from lavatory using 3" as the shower has multiple heads, I believe this is ok, but welcome any comments.
My question is on the vertical stack I want to be able to hide as much and the bottom especially inside the new wall for the bathroom. This would require me doing a kick out/offset with some 45s, any issue with that? My plan is to go from 4" to 3" in the slab with a 3 to 4" 90 (made for toilets I assume) then immediately go to the 45s as I go up from the slab. Other option was 3 to 4" adapter and long sweep 90.
Once I finished the basement bathroom the main floor bathroom will be a full gut and the stack may/likely moves to be more in line with the wall in basement.
Questions really are 1. Is the 3 to 4" 90 acceptable for this use, it looks to have less restriction then the 3" long sweep. 2. Is the kick out I planned on acceptable, if not is there another option.
