Hi, I'm new to pumps so please bear with me.
My pump froze this past winter, I had a shallow well pump, but did not know that until I purchased a convertible pump for shallow and deep ( figured I'd cover the both options)
I installed the body to convert to shallow single draw well.
2 venturi nozzles and a brass nozzle came with the unit. My instructions did not specify that I needed to use them so I didn't. 2 days of working in a well house without getting pressure and I gave up.
Called the pump mfg and they told me to install the nozzles using the brass on the bottom hole and the venturi over the brass fitting, leaving the upper hole open.
Seems that even with the smaller venturi supplied it doesn't seem to fit.
I found your forum with great answers to other questions, but not mine.
What is the correct way to install the venturi nozzle and brass fitting??
thanks
Lee
