Venting - toilet then shower then vent

I'm trying to work a waste line around a beam/joists and my current solution: toilet (3" line), then shower (2"), then vent (2"). I can change the order to: toilet, vent, shower. Will either work with the IPC?

The vent goes vertical right after the wye and if needed, I may be able to make the vent line 3".

With the toilet discharge flowing past the tub connection, the vent MUST BE on the tub line itself. Changing the size does NOT make it any better.

Thanks hj, that's what I was thinking, but could not be sure.

Would swapping the vent and tub line locations make a difference?

No, because the toilet would still be flowing past the tub drain without a vent on the tub ine.

Thanks again. Would this layout work? The tub now has its own vent that comes before the main waste line. The two vent lines will join up when they go vertical

As long as the tub is vented, you do not need the toilet vent. An inspector would NOT approve that sanitary tee for the tub drain, however.
