I want to make sure this venting is ok. I have a drain stack coming up from basement that is 3". It branches off to a toilet, then continues and branches of to a tub (2" line), and then the 3" line reduces to 2" and goes to a shower. I was going to put a vent branching off between the tub and shower, off the 3" pipe. Should I also add a vent between the toilet and tub? Based on code it sounds like I need to - in Michigan. Or am I just totally wrong?
