Hi,
We have a small vacation cabin with one bathroom and a kitchen sink and a septic system. We'd like to install a Saniflo system in the basement. My question is on venting. If you look at the photo below, the line from the left comes from a washing machine in the basement. Next vertical line is a 3" vent going to the roof. Next line coming in is the bathroom sink, then toilet, then it flows to the right to the septic system.
Would it be acceptable to tie the saniflo drain line into the right of the toilet, and the vent to the left of the vent pipe to try and utilize the 3" vent that way? I would like to vent in the basement because the vent line is in a pine tongue and groove board wall up that will be difficult to cut open and patch nicely. Of course if that's the only option that's what I'll do.
Thanks for any advice.
