Valley part #?

Trying to determine which Valley shower faucet this is. I assume valley as the handle says so. Head is leaking so it's time to replace cartridge. Thanks!!

Good question, because I have never seen a Valley cartridge that looked like that.

One company calls it a #7010, but I think that is an internal number. IF you ask for a Valley "pressure balanced cartridge" you should get the correct one.

Thanks for the info. The nice people at plumbing supply also think it is a pressure balanced cartridge. I guess im buying a few to see what works.

It looks to me like it might be a Valley V6005 used on back to back showers. Is there another shower on the wall directly behind this one?

No there is not, its a closet.

Why "buy a few" since there is only ONE model that I know of.
