Hello,

I am trying to meet fixture clearance code and may need to move a lav away from my wet wall. I don't want to vent it in its new proposed location. Can I simply increase the pipe size to 2" so I can vent the fixture back inside the wet wall and take advantage of the 5 foot max critical distance length that I can use. Is this a reasonable solution that pros use?

Thanks

Thanks hj. By ALL criteria, do you mean fixture spacing or are you talking about drain pipe slope and proper vent pipe diameter associated with a 2" drain? I am not sure I understand what the criteria are. Thanks.
