Urinals emptying into waste stack vents

Why is it not okay to have a urinal empty into a waste stack vent? Is it because of the amount of water they discharge? Thanks.

More likely not enough water leading to salt deposits even if flushed often. That said however, there is no fixing stupid when it comes to the "let it mellow" conservationists.

When you tap into a vent for drainage, everything below it is now a wet vent. Depending on the type of fixtures and other venting requirements to meet code, added a drain that creates wet venting is problematic. Nothing to do with how much you pi$$ .

You will have to snake the line at some point to get rid of the salt crystals that form on the inside of the pipe.
Vent fittings don't allow for that.
