We are building a new home, it is a ranch style home and the back of the land drops down in the back to allow access to the basement. We want to put our laundry room in the basement and we will be on our own well/septic system. We have been told that we cannot get the proper drainage for the laundry to go up. Can anyone tell me if this is true or if there is a solution?

You would pump the waste up to the septic system in the basement.
You can either go with an infloor basin and pump, or one that sets above the floor.
When you are plumbing this in, you will need to vent the basin up through the roof.
