I just started on a kitchen remodel and I'm running 2" drain and hot and cold supply to a new island.
The supply lines will come from the attic, into the wall on the far right side of the attached image. The end up where the drain is on the left.
I've always used the Uponor PEX - but have yet to use it below grade. Does it need to be sleeved or insulated? If insulated, sleeved or left bare, does it just sit in the trench? Does it need to be below the new pour - or can it be embedded?
I was definitely planning on some sort of sleeve or conduit 90 where it enters and exits the slab - but didn't know about in between the start and end point.
