I'm considering purchasing an American Standard Spectra Versa shower system linked below:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/America...-Brushed-Nickel-9035804-295/311248384#overlay
My question is my tile does not go all the way up to the ceiling so the upper and lower wall mounts would be connected to different wall thicknesses. Is this possible? They include an extension for the top connection but unsure if this is the purpose for this. The instructions do not cover this scenario.
Also anyone who has installed this system and your thoughts?
Separate question - I have a Moen shower valve and am looking to replace the trim kit. Do I have to use a Moen brand trim kit or just make sure the diverter types match?
Thanks for all the help.
