tuscany cartridge

Having big problem finding cartridge for my tuscany shower. Old cartgridgr had part# HL-40 stamped on it. Went to mennards bought their cartgridge but it did not work looks simliar but won't work. Does anybody out their know where I can buy this cartgridge? stumped in Ohio!!!
