Tub Spout Removal Help - Set Screw?

The shower valve was a Delta 1500 model from the 1990's (in gold...). Anyway, trying to get the tub spout off to change to a more current color.

I can turn the spout counter clockwise, but it doesn't come off. I don't see a set screw though and don't want to risk damaging it. See the attached photo.

Any ideas? Thanks. John

Thanks Terry. I figured there must be a set screw in there somewhere. Apart from the shiny gold color on the metal collar shown in your photo mine appears the same. I see the plastic tabs. Wondering if maybe I will be able to pin one of the tabs to the wall using a screw driver while I rotate the spout looking for the set screw. I saw a video where they drilled holes around the spout and found the screw that way.

I believe that there will be a screw or Allen on that, but you may need to spin the spout to find it.
Also, it may be that you can spin it off counter clockwise to see the holding piece inside.
