I am remodeling my bathroom from a house built in the early 1900s. All rough cut hardwoods. I am installing an acrylic tub w/surround. The floor where the tub sits is out of level by a total inch from one corner to the other. I don't really want to rip up the floors. Any suggestions? I am using Plaster of Paris to set the tub.

My Brother-in-law suggested just putting it in and putting trim on the front skirt bottom where the inch is obvious.

I have not tried the plaster of paris for setting yet, I have used mortar mix.
The molding on the trim sounds like a good idea. The tub is better level, and that way if you want sliding glass door, they will work.
