Trying to remove tub flange. I got it loose but can't lift it up and out. it just spins. can't even get a ptr tool underneath enough to pry it out. after an hour of research, the best advice i got so far was to cut it out with a sawzall. there has to be a better way. any suggestions out there?
thanks.

What are you referring to.
Pictures help.
Generally a tub flange is the flange integrally built into tub, so of course it is not 'removable'

it's this piece. some call it the tub drain some call it the drain flange. it's loose but is just spinning, un unscrewing.
