I need to offset the trap for my bathtub by 16" in order to maintain a 60" trap arm length. I have dry fit all my connections. Are there any issues with this before I glue it up?

I don't think your tub is vented properly.

As an aside, you are going to need to replace some of the pipes...you CANNOT dry fit the pipes like that and expect things to still be in the desired locations/lengths, since the fittings are tapered, and you will not be able to dry fit them to the bottom of the fitting. So, when you do try to cement them together, each joint will move a bit, and you'll come up short. The fittings are tapered and you can only bottom out the pipe in them once you add the cement which literally melts the plastic, allowing you to push the pipe in further (and, you have to hold it in place, especially on larger fittings, until the solvent evaporates, or the pipe will push back out of the fitting).

What about the trap offset?

I believe for 1 1/2" pipe, the trap arm can be 72". This would mean only 4" offset of the trap. Is this acceptable?

What makes this a wet vent? I don't even see a vent downstream. I must be missing something.

Sorry, here are a few pictures of the rest of the system.

If you say so, but I am not sure a competent inspector, (and they are NOT ALL competent), would agree. It depends on the WHOLE system not just what you have photographed.

The entire system is in the photos I posted in this thread. The only thing not hooked up is the toilet.

What is the maximum a trap can be offset from the drain?

With regard to the vent, I don't see how it is any different than this system other than my toilet is downstream of the bathtub.

There is a lot of bad info published out there. That install would not pass inspection here because flushing the WC could siphon the BT trap. The BT needs it's own vent take-off before the connection to the main line.

There is no requirement on distance from a trap to the drain, but there is a maximum distance a trap can be from its vent, and that must occur before the drain line turns vertical or joins some other device that could drain into the line; and, the distance on that depends on the diameter of the pipe. NOte, the UPC and IPC use different values, so you must know what codes apply to your place. UPC is more restrictive than IPC, which is more liberal.
