Transition from 3/4" HDPE to 3/4" PEX-A

I'm looking to re-plumb my manufactured home: it's currently got CPVC. Going to go with PEX-A (will only use expansion fittings). The main service line (feed from my personal well) is black poly pipe (HDPE), 3/4" ID.

I cannot find an adapter to make this transition. UPONOR has a 1" one (though it's reviewed poorly- only one reviewer and they say it's not a tight fit on the HDPE side), but that is all they have.

I'm NOT going to dig up my yard to install 1" piping: it also runs under my well house's concrete slab; no idea how.

I've seen a poly adapter, but I'm thinking that a brass (NSF 61 approved) one would be better.

No real luck finding anything going NPT to connect up two adapters.

From poly I normally use a brass insert fitting to a male iron pipe thread. From there you can adapt to whatever you need.
I use two hose clamps on the insert, just in case one goes bad.

Hi, Terry.

I'm able to find all sorts of connectors, but not the combo I need. If I was using crimp-to-fit PEX I might be able to come up with what's needed, but I'm going with PEX-A.

I can come up with a mix of metal and plastic, but not metal for both. On the PEX-A side only metal (brass) is available, female or male, in NPT. On the poly pipe side I cannot find metal adapters that are potable: I've found a brass one that's male but the threads are IPS and not NPT.

I've messed with the poly pipe fittings, having recommissioned a well: all piping I used was 1", not that that matters; but, the existing line to the house is 3/4", and I'm stuck with that.

Looks like I might have to resort to employing THREE adapters! (not sure my head won't explode in the process!)

Thanks to a fellow forum member I've tracked down a solution (3/4" MNPT to 3/4" barb that's drinking water safe) :)
