I need to replace a toto thu224 flush valve. It is the the twist and remove version - no need to remove the tank - with no overflow tube. Unfortunately the part is discontinued and I am getting conflicting information on what exactly is a proper replacement part. Some say use a thu435 with an elongated push button but others say it will not work. Anybody dealt with this and have any advice?
