Thanks to the great tutorial and advice on this forum I just self-installed a Toto Drake toilet (my first toilet install). No leaks or odors, toilet and tank are tight, flushing is great. However, the toilet tank lid does not sit flush on the tank, it rocks a little and you can hear the slight porcelain on porcelain bounce simply by walking into the room. I saw one online video that suggested laying down a silicone bead on the edge of the tank to act as a sort of gasket. But I think that's a bad idea because I may want to access the inside of the tank someday and perform repairs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
