OK. so I've given up on getting a Toto Aquia II, the toilet that is perfection.
(except for not fitting into my bathroom.)
We went to THE Toto dealer as recommended by a plumber and he suggested getting the Toto Eco Drake(CST44E) because there is 1 3/4 inches from the tank to the wall. Problem is, I don't like the "swan neck" on the bowl because dust will get in the little crevices.
He then suggested the Toto Eco Nexus (CST794EF) for a LOT more money$$!!
It DOES have the lovely skirt that makes cleaning easier (I am partially disabled) and the space in my bathroom is very narrow to clean the toilet sides. I am also only 5 feet tall. The Nexus has a bowl height of 16 1/8" and the Drake is
14 5/8". ADA toilets leave my legs swinging in the air. I can't touch the ground when seated.

I guess that tells me that the Drake is the one I need to get SO, can I get information on the pros and cons of either/each toilet?

Greatly appreciated!
Sue

I'm guessing not fitting means you don't have a 12" rough-in?

Toto Eco Drake(CST44E) because there is 1 3/4 inches from the tank to the wall.

It's actually 1 1/8" from tank to wall, so you have at most 10 7/8".
If you need smaller than that you can go with a "Reliance" C704-10 which has a 10" rough-in, elongated and standard height or C703-10 which is regular rim.

Toto Drake CST744 works at 10-7/8"

Oh No! Another fly in the ointment!

I'm going crazy. I'm down to two choices and you throw in a third!
The rough-in in my batroom is 11 5/8 so not quite a twelve inch.

Sigh!!!!

Terry said this in another post

to a woman who had 11 1/4 inch rough in which is under what I have at 11 5/8....

Pretty much any 12" toilet will work at 11-1/4"

If you check the specs, at 12" they have 3/4" of open space at the back.

Yes the Aquia only has a 1/4" gap, but if pushed it should fit 11-5/8".
The tank will be pushed forward only 1/8" but i doubt you would even notice.

Big Sigh!!!!

The guys at Rubenstein Supply here in Oakland said that if it is 12" minimum then there is no leeway.
I should have flown Terry here to do my install! It would certainly ease my pain and aggrevation...and I would get what I wanted...

My Toto EcoDrake was installed this morning

You are right. It is a nifty little toilet I didn't get my Dual Fludh but this Drake is a 1.28 so it should be great. I'll see the results with the next water bill. I realy would have like the enclosed skirt for easy cleaning but I'll just have to let it collect dust!
I'm not happy with the plumber... even if he did do a good job. He said it was and hour and a half and I clocked one hour for the entire install. I wonder if they get paid travel time?

He traveled to your home, right?
Most plumbers if they charge by the hour, add 1/2 for travel.

That is why I flat rate my installs.
Then you wouldn't have to stand over me with a big grandfather clock in your hand, and we could talk a little bit, and even take enough time to make sure everything is just so.

I imagine that it cost him some for gas too.
You should see our gas bills every month, and our fees for handling the toilets we remove. They don't just disappear into thin air when they reach the truck. All that cardboard needs to find a home too.

The job really starts and ends in a far away place where little elves live.
They run out to the truck and snatch the disposables,
where they take them, I don't know.
